The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game

Spillerne samarbeider som et brorskap av helter og bygger kortstokker med allierte, hendelser og vedlegg for å ta fatt på scenariobaserte eventyr i Tolkiens Midgard. Hver runde sender spillerne helter og allierte ut på oppdrag, lar dem møte fiender, forsvare seg eller angripe, og håndterer deretter begrensede ressurser og utmattede kort for å balansere fremdrift i oppdraget mot stadig større trusler. Spillet støtter ferdigbygde og egendefinerte kortstokker, og byr på frittstående scenarioer eller sammenhengende kampanjer med varige konsekvenser. Utvidelser legger til nye scenarioer, helter og spillerkort som gir mer innhold og variasjon.

    This is maybe the best example I know of how to transform theme, sensations and story into elegant mechanics. The best point is that every expansion is a surprise in terms of narrative, mechanics and challenge.

Legg 1 ressurs til hver helts ressursbank under steg 2 av oppsettet, «Plasser helter og sett starttrusselnivåer». (side 1)

Hvilke møte-kort skal jeg fjerne for Enkel modus — skal jeg fjerne alle kort med gullkant?

Fjern alle kort som har «vanskelighets»-indikatoren (en gullkant rundt ikonet for møtesettet) fra det nåværende scenariets møtedekk; disse kortene fjernes fra dekket i Easy Mode. (side 1)
