The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Land of Shadow

Three new scenarios recreate key episodes from the second half of The Two Towers as a cooperative card-driven campaign. Players guide a Fellowship through encounters that simulate Gollum’s treachery in the Dead Marshes, guerrilla engagements with the Haradrim in Ithilien, and the perilous confrontation in Shelob’s lair. Each scenario plays as a standalone quest or as part of a linked Campaign Mode where choices produce lasting boons and burdens that affect later quests. The set adds new encounter and quest cards, three new heroes, and additional player cards across all spheres to expand deck-building options and tactical approaches.
