The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Sands of Harad

A cooperative living card game set after the Dream-chaser cycle, sending a party of heroes from coastal Umbar into the deserts of Harad and back toward Mordor. Players build decks, lead heroes and allies, and resolve scenarios that include street escapes, desert hazards, hostile Haradrim, and encounters with predators and orcish forces. New mechanics emphasize paired Traits and allied synergy, with cards that trigger only when specific hero or ally pairings are in play. The expansion adds three scenarios, new player cards across the spheres, two complementary heroes, and a side quest option that exempts the first ally played each turn from resource-match restrictions.
