The Origin

A gritty, mysterious setting for the Cypher System, where characters develop emerging superpowers in a world that seems almost identical to our own—but has been altered in disturbing ways. Players investigate fragmented memories, confront sinister organizations, superpowered enemies, monstrous creatures, and extradimensional beings, while uncovering the truth behind a possible alternate fate for Earth. The setting includes rules for gaining and mastering new abilities, dozens of cyphers and artifacts, new creatures and metahumans, and three full adventures with an additional interlude. Requires the Cypher System Rulebook for play.
