Cave Evil

Players take the roles of ancient necromancers excavating intertwined necropolises beneath the earth. They gather resources and body parts from their lairs to assemble minions, expand tunnels, and send forces to scout, ambush, or attack rivals. Play alternates between digging for new creatures and treasures, bolstering one’s own defenses, and resolving combat when minions clash or enter another necromancer’s lair to crush a Chthonic Crystal. The game ends when only one necromancer remains; simultaneous escalation of dark power can also trigger a rising central menace that affects all players.
