Mar Rojo

A card-driven naval wargame set during the Spanish Civil War, recreating convoy warfare, blockades and occasional surface actions between rival navies. Players field fleets of 5–12 ships and each start with five cards in hand. Turns use card play to move warships, conduct attacks and escort merchant vessels toward friendly harbors while attempting to sink opposing warships. Victory conditions combine naval destruction and successful arrival of merchant ships, reflecting the dual goals of sea control and convoy protection.
