The Mystery of the Templars

Players lead the Knights Templar during the Middle Ages, managing a network of commanderies across Europe and the Holy Land. Knights escort pilgrims, search for lost Christian relics, acquire trade goods, and transport them to European markets. Profits support the expansion of the Order, while brigands and pirates threaten caravans and ships. As persecution begins, players evacuate their commanderies and attempt to save as much wealth and as many relics as possible. Success depends on balancing trade, development, defense, and the final escape from the Order’s enemies.
