Fabula

A storytelling game in which one player acts as the teller and the others play tentative heroes seeking a place in the tale. The teller presents the beginning of a short story, then asks the players to explain three developments by choosing illustrated object cards and incorporating them into the narrative. The teller awards quill markers for convincing proposals, while each used card is kept by its player. The two players with the most markers compete in the epilogue, using the two remaining objects in timed proposals for the story’s ending. Variants allow players to build one shared tale or take part in a collective ending without scoring.
