The booklet provides simplified rules for character creation and conflict resolution using six-sided dice, six ready-made player characters, and an introductory scenario that sends the group from the countryside toward the capital. It covers combat, social challenges, and travel hazards, and includes guidance for running the opening adventure in the city of King's Landing.
