Baldur’s Gate stands on the brink of civil war, divided by social tensions between its wealthy heights, merchant districts, and lawless outskirts. As bodies begin to fill the streets, the dead god Bhaal prepares to return, and three prominent figures unknowingly compete to herald his resurrection. Players take the role of heroes investigating the murders and unrest, navigating the city’s locations and factions while trying to prevent its destruction. The adventure includes a prologue, the main scenario, additional event options, and a Dungeon Master’s guide covering important characters and locations.
