Cave of the Slumbering Crawlers

This dark-fantasy adventure takes a party into a cave caught in a conflict between a psychic fungus and a slime mold hivemind. The creatures of the cave serve as pawns, including crazed lizardfolk, zombie giant centipedes, and a mysterious zombie cave brute. Players explore interconnected rooms, investigate the origins of the conflict, escape slime mold cultists, and face hallucinations and psychic attacks. Treasures include a Wand of Detect Thoughts and a Scroll of Charm Person, which can help the party communicate with the hiveminds and uncover the cave’s secrets. Their choices influence the encounters and consequences beyond the cave.
