Players take on the roles of historical figures whose unique abilities interact as they resolve a sequence of event cards representing the land’s history. Each round, players play trick-taking style: choose and reveal character cards to contest an event, apply card effects and special powers, and claim honours based on outcomes. Optional rules let groups adjust difficulty by drawing multiple event cards or removing certain events until players learn card interactions. The game supports three to six players and emphasizes timing and ability combos as participants try to accumulate honours and leave a lasting legacy in the chronicle of the realm.
