Dark Fantasy Basic: Player's Guide

A rules-light dark fantasy roleplaying game inspired by classic old-school systems. Characters use six abilities, classes, levels, skills, feats, weapons, and flexible spells, with options for fighters, clerics, thieves, magic-users, and the hopeless. Player characters are human or similar rather than divided into fixed races, with guidance for creating custom ancestries. The spell list contains 20 adaptable spells, each offering choices in level and effects during casting. Conversion notes support compatibility with other OSR games.
