Players compete to collect all cards by comparing animal statistics shown on each card. Each turn the active player names a characteristic (for example speed) and plays a card; in clockwise order players then play a card and the highest value in that characteristic wins the trick and takes the played cards, becoming the next chooser. Cards depict animals with basic info and four or five measurable traits. Cards are also ranked into four conservation-status categories from safe to critically endangered; three “in danger” categories can override the chosen characteristic according to their priority. A shorter play variant uses a set time limit, with the winner being the player holding the most cards when time expires.
