Players build and manage a personal dinosaur park on a modular player board, placing wooden dinosaur tokens drawn from the main board or the wasteland into limited spaces across different habitats. Placement decisions must account for species interactions, a food chain where herbivores eventually produce meat for carnivores, and environmental features such as volcanoes and lakes. Zookeepers move to deliver food and optimize feeding efficiency. The game includes variable setup milestones that generate objectives; completing these milestones awards bonus cards that influence long-term strategy and scoring.
