Set during the Mesolithic period, after the end of the ice age, the game takes place in Smoke Mountain, a small village led by Kidaha. The village welcomes women seeking shelter from their former communities, while men are forbidden from entering. Stone tools, hand-woven fabrics, abundant food, and declining ice-age mammals reflect the changing climate and way of life.
