Just like Eight Minute Empire, this game is a thrilling abstraction of everything I love about area control games. This game adds a lot of additional flavor and new mechanics on top of it, making this a varied and interesting experience. Still light, still quick. I enjoy how the designers removed how every card auto-scores which is the case in the original EME. It gives me a reason to hold onto both games.
