Heat: Heavy Rain

Shifting down in Step 1 costs 1 extra Heat. The rulebook’s examples say shifting down one gear costs 1 Heat total, and shifting down two gears costs 2 Heat total (p. 3).

Without the Weather and Road Conditions Module, treat chicanes like regular corners. With that module, draw only one Road Condition token for the whole chicane; a Sector symbol affects the sector after it, and any other token affects both Corner Lines (p. 3).

It always goes on the chicane’s last Corner Line—the one you cross when exiting the chicane—as indicated on the Track Card (p. 3).

Yes. If a Legend starts its turn on a space marked with a chevron above the diamond, it can cross one extra Corner Line that round (p. 3).

In Step 5, you may look through your discard pile and return up to the indicated number of Heat cards to your Engine spot. If there are no Heat cards there, the symbol is wasted (p. 4).
