Heat: Legends

Adds six new automated Legend drivers and a suite of support cards to expand standard racing plays. Legends act as smarter AI opponents that slipstream, draft, take corners with precision, and use unique abilities that alter race dynamics. Includes adjustable difficulty for the Legend drivers and new Power Up, Rival, and Sponsorship cards that change how turns and interactions resolve. Players continue to manage speed, positioning, and overtakes while adapting to tougher, more unpredictable competition and additional strategic options.

Regelfrågor

Besvarat ur regelboken av Ludoyas regelassistent.

Which Legend deck do we use for each difficulty level?

Level 1 uses any deck and ignores Stars; levels 2–6 use, respectively, green, green and yellow shuffled together, yellow, yellow and red shuffled together, or red. Higher levels are more difficult (p. 3).

When does a Legend get to use the Star ability on a Power Up card?

At difficulty 2 or higher, reveal a Power Up card each round. A Legend gets that round’s Star ability only if its Legend card shows a Star (pp. 3–4).

If a Legend’s Star ability doesn’t work, does it get the +1 Space instead?

Yes. Every Star ability has a secondary +1 Space ability if its primary ability does not apply; add that space after the normal move, and the Legend can still be blocked again (p. 4, p. 6).

When does a Legend get Adrenaline, and how far does it move?

It gets Adrenaline if it is the last car to move in the round, or one of the last two in a race with 5 or more cars. It moves 1 extra Space after its normal move, and can still be blocked again (p. 3).

How do we choose Rivals, and can we use them at difficulty 1?

Rivals require difficulty 2–6. In a single race, they are the two frontmost Legends on the starting grid; in a Championship, there are none in race one, then the two highest-ranked Legends become Rivals for each upcoming race (p. 5).

What happens if a Legend has several abilities to resolve at once?

Resolve abilities in the order that moves the Legend furthest ahead on the track; Slipstream always happens last (p. 4).
