A two-dimensional world lies beyond the Doors of the Grand Stair, populated by sentient scribbles, conscious cartoons, and illustrated civilizations gathered from across the multiverse. Its landscapes include comic-book pages, sepia-toned seas, and white expanses inhabited by stick-figure hunters and predatory erasers. The setting presents reality as a vast illustrated world where the rules of ordinary space and existence do not apply.
