Lord of the Rings: Sauron

The Dark Lord returns and one player assumes the role of Sauron while the others form the Fellowship trying to destroy the Ring. Sauron monitors the Fellowship’s moves, deploys the Black Rider figure and plays Sauron and Nazgûl cards to hunt the Hobbits. The Fellowship gains new resources and options to resist pursuit and advance their quest. The expansion also adds Dark Events: a separate set of event tiles that increases the game’s challenges and introduces choices about which events to accept or reject, altering the campaign’s difficulty and flow.
