This d20 System supplement brings magic into contemporary life, combining ancient traditions with modern technology and everyday settings. It adds new spells and magic items, including technological arcane tools, along with rules for Voudon spellcasting, the Loa, and ritual possessions. The book also presents methods for investigating magical crimes through forensic science, including the Arcane Investigator advanced class. Nonspellcasters gain access to talismans, natural elements, and rituals that provide protection from magical attacks.
