My First Castle Panic

Players cooperate to defend a single large castle and its wall from waves of cute monsters that advance along a fixed path. Each step toward the castle is marked by a color and shape, and players hold defender cards that show a color and shape. On a turn, a player plays a card that matches a monster’s space to capture that monster and send it to the dungeon. Monsters are added and move closer each round, and the group either keeps the castle standing until all monsters are captured or loses when the castle is destroyed. The game removes reading requirements and emphasizes color and shape matching, simple problem solving, and turn taking for younger players.
