Birds: A Nanatoridori game

Players act as guides helping bird guests return home by playing cards from a fixed hand. From a common deck of numbered bird cards, each player receives an unchangeable hand and leads by playing one or more adjacent cards of the same rank. Subsequent plays must match the card count on the table and either show a higher rank or a larger set; higher-count sets beat lower-count sets regardless of rank. When a play overcomes previous cards, the winner may pick up those cards into their hand (placing them anywhere) or discard them. Passing forces a draw from the deck and optional placement or discard. Rounds clear when everyone but one passes; players who empty their hands avoid penalties, and the last player holding cards loses lives until the game ends.
