Quadropolis

Players each develop a personal city over four rounds, drafting tiles from a shared 5x5 market by placing numbered architect workers beside rows or columns to claim specific tiles. Claimed tiles go onto a 4x4 city board and may provide inhabitants or energy that must be assigned to activate buildings. Architect placements block rows, columns, and occupied slots, creating a spatial puzzle of limited choices as the round progresses. Between and during rounds players can redistribute inhabitants and energy to prepare building activations. At game end players score six building types—residences, shops, public services, parks, harbors, and factories—according to different spatial and resource-activation conditions, plus any direct VP tiles; the highest total wins.

Juego precioso y muy familiar...tanto que me ha dejado flojo como el pescuezo de un pavo. Me tomare un Diazepan a ver si se me pasa el disgusto y le daré otra oportunidad...

Got it for half price, might as well give it a try. Probably will end up selling it. Really charming artwork and components, the game just feels welcoming. I'm not sure the actually gameplay will hold up for long, but I'll give it another go or two in the future. I would also like to try the expert variant before deciding its fate. Still only played the regular game, but despite my initial feeling, I don’t feel like getting rid of it. There’s something charming about it, that makes me feel good when I play this game. After yet another game, I'm still on the fence with this one. It is good, but I cannot enjoy it thoroughly for some reason. Maybe too 'puzzley' for me? Still holding onto it, it's difficult to sell anyway.
