Renegades

An AD&D Living City adventure in which the characters are sent to rescue hostages held by war deserters and brigands. The party travels from Ravens Bluff to an abandoned mine in the Sarbreenar Mountains, passing war-torn settlements before entering the Underdark. There, they find a guide at an unusual subterranean pub and follow a dangerous trail involving an evil sword, a traitorous conscript, and battles in forgotten mine tunnels. Encounters are scaled across five tiers for different party levels, and successful characters may earn gold, jewels, magical items, fame, and favors from those they save.
