Risk: Shadow Forces

In a climate-ravaged 2050, rival factions and warlords vie for control of a collapsing world while harvesting a mysterious new energy resource. Players command armies, mobilize mercenaries, and run disinformation and resource-gathering operations across a global map. The game uses legacy mechanics: players write on components, apply stickers, and permanently alter or remove pieces as the campaign progresses. Campaign missions unlock new rules, cards, and sealed envelopes or containers that are opened in sequence. Play alternates between grand strategic moves on the world map and squad-level covert missions that resolve in small skirmishes and then feed back into the evolving campaign state.
