Samurai Spirit

Players cooperate as a band of samurai defending a village from waves of bandits and bosses. Play proceeds over a series of rounds in which players draw enemy cards and then choose actions: engage an enemy, defend the village, or let an enemy pass to aid a teammate. Choices trade short-term protection for longer-term personal power as samurai can unlock stronger “beast” abilities by fighting. The game tracks damaged farms and fallen civilians; the group wins by preserving at least one farm and enough farmers while surviving the final lieutenant and boss encounters. Team coordination and risk management determine the outcome.

Cooperative Filler Card Game created by Bauza. It seems very random and not so funny. All the times I played I didn't enjoy.

7 samurai... the game. A bit mathy but an up to 7 person cooperative game that is easy to teach, sign me up. Plus the characters can turn into magic samurai animals! It's as if Akira Kurosawa made an 80's cartoon.
