Shadowfall

An alternate 1984 where governments have allied with some of the universe’s horrors and watch for the rest. Freedom, tolerance, and compassion have been traded for security and paranoia, while intelligence agencies and military forces serve amoral powers. This science-fiction roleplaying setting uses the Cepheus Engine or similar rules. Players create characters from 11 new or adapted careers and confront ancient evils, oppressive governments, and experimental Lovecraftian super-science using their skills, weapons, and ingenuity.
