Shake That City

Shake a 3×3 pattern from a cube shaker and use that pattern to place building tiles on a personal city board. Each round the active player reveals a pattern and chooses one color of building tiles to place; other players then choose different colors and place the same pattern on their own boards. Tiles represent roads, factories, shops, parks and homes, each scoring differently: roads score for reaching a board edge; factories for clustering near roads and other factories; homes for forming small clusters that avoid factories; parks for adjacency to homes and factories; and shops for proximity to the city center and for having road access to an edge. Players score for tile-placement synergies and for completing bonus tiles around the board edge; the highest total wins.
