Sheriff of Nottingham: 2nd Edition

Players take turns as the Sheriff while the others act as Merchants trying to bring goods into the market. Merchants declare and place goods into hidden bags, choose whether to include contraband, and may offer bribes or make false claims to influence inspections. The Sheriff selects which bags to inspect, collects penalties from caught smugglers, and pays penalties when honest Merchants are wrongly inspected. Rounds rotate roles, players manage money and goods cards to build the most profitable stall while reading opponents and bluffing. This edition adds additional roles and optional Black Market and Deputy mechanics for larger groups and varied play.
