Simple GBoH

A streamlined adaptation of a larger tactical ancient-warfare system, this rule set lets players run scenarios from multiple titles in the parent series with far fewer mechanics. It collapses or removes detailed subsystems (shock and missile resolution, orderly withdrawal, elephants, leader activation and several rally/command procedures) so turns and scenarios resolve more quickly, typically in 1–3 hours. Rules, charts and a playbook provide unified procedures and a suite of scenarios drawn from several periods; some scenarios require ownership of the original titles or additional playbooks/manuals. Scenario listings include approximate playing times and balance assessments.
