A 20-page rules supplement for B/X and Old School Essentials introduces a streamlined proficiency framework for character development and interaction with the game world. It covers five categories—Weapons, Artisan, Non-Weapon, Survival, and Languages—with optional starting proficiencies for first-level characters. Characters improve through downtime, training, quests, and other in-world efforts.
