Players use a small, prepped deck of Crew, Ship, Equipment, and Enemy cards plus several set-aside staples from the base game to assemble hands and resolve encounters. Gameplay centers on recruiting and deploying crew, outfitting ships with equipment, and confronting a single enemy while racing to secure the lost items. The module replaces the usual setup with a selected pool of 18 cards, creating a focused, short session that integrates with the base game’s recruitment, combat, and resource mechanics.
