Spell & Blade: OSR Retainers

A collection of 100 printable 1st-level NPC retainers for OSR fantasy campaigns. Each character includes full game statistics, a brief appearance, personality, and a distinctive quirk for use as a hireling or party member. The set includes clerics, fighters, magic-users, and thieves, along with dwarf, elf, and halfling characters. Some statistics are higher than typical OSR averages to reflect the characters’ backgrounds and make them useful to adventuring parties; the GM can adjust them for a campaign.
