This expansion explores the Andromedan invasion, a previously unknown threat whose motives, appearance, and technology remain uncertain. It adds hypothetical Andromedan units, fighters, bombers, gunboats, satellite-ship refits, and revised weapons such as plasma pods, spatial distorters, and dissection beams. New scenarios depict the destruction of the Lyran Democratic Republic and provide situations for using the added forces and equipment.
