Players take the role of a Starfleet captain commanding a ship, crew, and away teams while managing resources and alliances in head-to-head play. This expansion adds three new captains and a new starting location that introduces a trans-temporal portal, enabling matchups with captains from the base game and other expansions; it requires common cards from a base set to play.
