Steam and Shellfire

A reference guide to the extraordinary technology of the Steam Age, rooted in late-18th- through early-20th-century possibilities. It covers steam power, telegraphy, tools, armor, weapons, powered armor, speculative firearms and ray guns, calculating machines, mechanical men, and other forms of mad science for heroes and villains to use or invent. The material supports settings featuring Difference Engines, clockwork carbines, and experimental potions.
