The Castles of Burgundy: 4th Expansion – Monastery Boards

Adds a new player board variant that prints monasteries adjacent to the normal play area and introduces rules for connecting them. Players place tiles as usual and can score by creating a straight, contiguous chain of five tiles that connects two monasteries on their board, immediately earning 5 victory points for each such connection. Completing all three monastery connections yields an endgame bonus: the first player to do so scores 5, 6, or 7 bonus points depending on player count (2–4 players), and the second to complete all three receives a smaller bonus of 2–4 points. Up to 22 extra victory points are available from these monastery bonuses in a single game.
