The Mines of Tarifel

A fortified dwarven village depends on its marble quarries and a mine rich in iron and rubies. When kobolds seize a newly opened shaft, the village’s ruler seeks aid from nearby allies while the mine remains out of operation. This side quest presents the village, including its tavern, meals, patrons, rumors, shops, brothel, and other notable locations. It also includes a short adventure or dungeon crawl involving the occupied mine, suitable as a stop during a campaign or a standalone session.
