The Shadow Theater: The Legend of the Monkey King

Players enact a mythic duel inspired by the Monkey King legend, deploying monkey figures, collecting fruit tokens, and accumulating jade stones to score points. Each turn players place and move pieces, activate abilities tied to dragon weapons, and contest shared locations to harvest resources. The game resolves with tactical timing and short tactical combos rather than long planning, emphasizing quick decisions and interactive conflict. Designed for two players, playtime is brief and components include cards, tokens, and miniatures that reflect the story while driving competitive, tactical play.
