Trial of the Beast

The heroes become involved in the trial of the Beast of Lepidstadt, a cunning flesh golem accused of murder and terrorizing the countryside. While pursuing the Whispering Way, they must protect the creature from angry townsfolk, macabre scholars, and agents of its creator. After a violent attack sets the Beast loose, the investigation leads to a mad scientist’s laboratory filled with golems, alchemical abominations, and deadly machines. This Pathfinder Roleplaying Game adventure for 4th-level characters also includes details on Pharasma, the Eternal Order of the Palatine Eye, five new monsters, and additional fiction.
