Trophy Dark

A collaborative storytelling game about treasure-hunters on a doomed expedition into a forest that does not want them there. One game master portrays the dangers of the world, while the players portray the hunters as they descend into the forest toward ancient ruins, forbidden treasure, and monstrous entities. The game focuses on the characters’ physical and mental deterioration, with mechanics that shape their growing scars and eventual fates. The expedition is a horror story about entitled pillagers, and the hunters are likely to die or return permanently scarred and haunted.
