Warhammer Age of Sigmar (Second Edition) Core Rules

A tabletop miniature wargame and hobby system set across the Mortal Realms, where players assemble and paint armies from rival factions and fight narrative battles. Games use core rules for activation, movement, shooting, combat and magic, with a focus on base-to-base measuring, revised pile-in mechanics and clarified shooting-in-combat interactions. Armies choose a Realm that grants thematic command abilities, realm-specific spells, Realmscape Features and artefacts that affect listbuilding and play. Heroes contribute command abilities via a command-point resource, and summoning, endless spells and spellcasting receive distinct modelled rules that persist on the table and interact with unbinding at extended ranges. Turn priority, summoning rewards and unit-level adjustments aim to shape tactical decision-making and army cohesion over the course of a battle.
