Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (4th Edition)

A grim, low-fantasy tabletop roleplaying game set in a corrupt, perilous world of magic, religion, and political struggle. Players create characters who scavenge, investigate, and fight to survive in cities, wilderness, and academies of magic while confronting moral decay and the influence of Chaos. One player acts as the game master, controlling the world, nonplayer characters, and threats, while the others roleplay their characters, make skill tests, manage resources, and engage in combat and social encounters. Mechanics emphasize dangerous, consequential choices, career advancement, and the risk of corruption as characters gain power and face escalating threats.
