A boxed set presenting the climactic invasion of the Warhammer Old World by a massive Chaos warhost and its skaven allies. The package contains two hardcover books: the first is a 256-page narrative that chronicles the campaign and battles led by the Everchosen; the second is an 80-page rules volume that translates the story into playable content. The rules book supplies new army selection options for forces of the End Times, campaign systems (Lords of Battle and Halting the Apocalypse), 12 narrative scenarios inspired by the tale, and 9 Battlescrolls that detail the armies and formations featured in the narrative. Players read the story, build forces, and play linked scenarios and campaigns to reenact the final struggle.
