Warrock's Farm

A burned-out wagon and news of a troll raid set the stage for a search-and-rescue adventure. Adventurers track the raiders across a 25-square-mile area, using clues, guesses, tactics, and luck to locate two kidnapped children before it is too late. The region includes the town of Ash Mill, several farms, rivers, hills, a forest, a fen, a ruin, and five caves. The adventure includes descriptions of the area and its inhabitants, encounters with the trolls, and nine pregenerated characters ranging from level 1 to level 4. It is written for the Portal to Adventure rules and can be adapted to AD&D and similar systems.
