Wild Space: Encounters

Explorers encounter a technologically advanced alien species that feeds on minerals and can join a crew. Players collect a new resource, Quartz, from certain Crew cards and use it at the end of their turn to recruit Alien cards into their tableau. Aliens function as regular Crew with distinct, powerful abilities that interact with existing combos and strategies. The expansion adds a double-sided planet tile, new Crew and Alien cards, Quartz crystals, alternate captain cards, solo-mode cards, and rules for integrating the new resource and recruitment option.
