Players develop Hungarian railways by drafting and managing a mix of operating railroad companies and auxiliary service firms. Railroads build track, place stations, run trains and split their operating revenue between shareholders and the company treasury, while service companies sell abilities like extra tile placement, reduced bridge/tunnel costs, or permissions to bypass small stations. Shares of both railroad and service companies trade in stock rounds; company presidents place factory markers on city tiles to block passage by rivals. All train types are available from the start, trains do not rust but may be scrapped voluntarily, and the game ends after a final set of operations once all train types have been sold. The winner is the player with the most wealth.
