This two-player wargame covers the siege and relief of Orléans from April 1429, using one-month turns. The French player consolidates a diverse army under Joan of Arc while managing the uncertainty of her unpredictable events. The English player contends with Scottish forces and an unreliable Burgundian ally. Players conduct siege operations and open-field battles in an era combining artillery with armored cavalry charges. The game uses a mounted mapboard, 200 counters, and streamlined rules designed for a one-session playing time. Random events and variable combat effects create different conditions from game to game.
